Access and Payment for Services

Onslow Central Access Site

Consumers may refer themselves or can be referred by a family member, school, the court system, clergy, physician or other area agencies. To set up an appointment, please call (910) 353-5118 (TDD# 910-353-5118). Emergency walk-in services are available at 215 Memorial Drive. A 24-hour emergency services hotline is available by calling 1-888-737-0327. All new clients will be screened in order to assess therapeutic needs.

Carteret Family Services Center

Consumers may refer themselves or can be referred by a family member, school, the court system, clergy, physician or other area agencies. To set up an appointment, please call (252) 726-0707. A 24-hour emergency services hotline is available by calling 1-888-737-0327. Mobil crisis services will be dispatched within 2 hours to meet emergency needs. All new clients will be screened in order to assess therapeutic needs.

Payment for Services

Onslow Carteret Behavioral Healthcare Services files third party insurance. Fees for services are based on a sliding scale according to a consumer's income. The sliding scale fee is based upon the Federal Poverty Guidelines. No person is denied services based solely on their inability to pay. Consumers may pay for services by charging the fees to their Visa, Discover or MasterCard. This option makes it much easier and more convenient for our clients to pay their fees for services. Outstanding bills for past services may also be charged to a credit card, even over the phone. See the Reimbursement Representative at your next visit, or call (910) 353-5118.

Workers' Compensation request                 $10.00 (pages 1-20)

Attorney for liability claim/injury case request    $10.00 (pages 1-13)
                                                  .75 (pages 14-25)
                                                  .50 (pages 26-100)
                                                  .25 (pages 101+)

All Others $5.00 (pages 1-3)
.15 each additional page
