What To Expect PDF Print E-mail

The OCBHS worker will ask for information about your situation to assess your needs. If this screening determines that clinical services may be helpful, the OCBHS worker will help you choose a private provider and help you schedule an appointment.

The OCBHS worker will contact the chosen provider, share the information gathered, and the provider will contact you to initiate services.

The provider you choose will be considered your clinical home worker.  Your clinical home worker will coordinate, monitor, and link you to services, access available benefits, and be your first responder 24 hours/7 days a week to any crisis emergency services for you.

This worker will also schedule an appointment for you to have an assessment. This is a thorough evaluation to determine your diagnosis and recommendations for the services that may be helpful to you.

Payment For Services PDF Print E-mail

Onslow Carteret Behavioral Healthcare Services files third party insurance. Fees for services are based on a Sliding Fee Scale according to a consumer's income.   The sliding scale fee is based upon the Federal Poverty Guidelines.   No person is denied services based solely on their inability to pay. Consumers may pay for services by charging the fees to their Visa, Discover or MasterCard.  This option makes it much easier and more convenient for our clients to pay their fees for services.  Outstanding bills for past services may also be charged to a credit card, even over the phone.  See the Reimbursement Representative at your next visit.
