This is a great site to visit if you have concerns about the effect of a psychiatric disability in the workplace or school environment.  It contains information on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifically related to mental health.  It's also full of information and resources relating to discrimination based on mental illness.

This is a government agency web site.  It contains a wealth of statistics on substance abuse issues, as well as news releases, resource programs, and research paper abstracts.

This site has information on Depressive and Manic-Depressive illness as a treatable medical disease.  It includes information on advocacy, suicide, adolescent depression, educational materials, and links to other sites.
